Ever since my first shopping experience with Retro has gained my loyalty. The only pants and smocks I will own now. also loved my free blanket last year. Use it every night watching tv.
I received this throw as a bonus for a purchase over $100. It is much nicer than I expected. It’s nice and heavy weight, and a generous size. I can’t comment on the value at the purchase price (bc I don’t know the price point), but as a bonus for buying a couple smocks, it is a fabulous free perk! In my photo, my two dogs are on my bed, on the throw. One of which is wearing a printed sweater, and not part of the throw.
I have to disagree with the reviewer that said this smock runs small. They probably need to measure themselves, and they’d see that they ordered too small. The size chart is very accurate, but this smock is more fitted. It’s not oversized, and boxy like most old school grooming smocks. I purchased two of these Sophia smocks, in two different patterns. The cut is just as important to me, as the adorable print of the fabric. It is very flattering, and well made. The presentation was also amazing. Between the nicely packed box, lined with red tissue paper, to the Hershey bar that was thrown in for Valentines Day, someone took great care in packing the parcel. I haven’t worn either smock yet, but they both feel well tailored, and sewn. They feel like they should last a long time, with proper care.
And there was a tarot card type printed fluffy throw, that was a free gift. It is SO nice! Much nicer quality than a $5 Walmart fleece throw. It’s BIG, and very fluffy and soft. The blanket is quite nice!!
I hate almost everything about smocks…the style, the cut, the stiff fabric. This has NONE of those qualities. It’s so light weight that I have yet to feel hot while wearing it and my salon runs very hot and humid at times. I receive so many compliments every time I wear it and I love feeling and looking put together and not being itchy at the end of the day! My only complaint is that I don’t have one for every day of the week yet…but I will soon! Thank you Retro Stylist Wear for making a wonderful product!
I love wearing this smock tucked into my jeans.
I love how breathable it is.
Also love that I can wear a tank top underneath on really warm days.
It’s a loose fit but it allows you to move around freely.
Next order I will get a size smaller and compare.
Overall 10/10 I love this smock and print.
